A bit about Me

Victoria Guy was born and raised in GTA and has had strong interest in art since a young age, her passion leading her to enrolling in Sheridan College’s Honorary Bachelors of Craft and Design specializing in glass, and is currently a Resident Artist of Toronto Harbourfront Center.

​

Victoria creates sculptures of the female torso in glass, using layers of opaque colours which she carves to reveal the layers underneath. Her work is a part of a self-discussion attempting to unify the disconnection between her mind and body. By placing these individual sculptures together she speaks to the way experiences and emotions interact to build her self-concept.
