Bio

    Victoria Guy was born and raised in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario Canada and has had a strong connection to art throughout her life. Her journey in glass began with Sheridan College’s Honorary Bachelors of Craft and Design. Through her Education she has won several awards such as the Colour Fusion award, the Glen Williams award, and the Mary Corcoran award. She has taken a week-long intensive workshop where she studied sculptural glass blowing under Ross Richmond.

 

   Currently she is continuing her explorations as a resident artist at Harbourfront Center in Toronto and has exhibited work with Harbourfront curated by director Melanie Egan in a 2 person show known as Body Language. She also has exhibited work in Fusion: Ontario’s Clay and Glass Association in their Break through PLUS exhibition. she enjoys creating personal connections with the community of crafters around the Greater Toronto Aera by participating in craft shows.
