Victoria creates sculptures of the female torso in glass, using colour and pattern to create a visual representation of her emotional and mental state at the time of creation. By making these sculptures she is challenging her ideas of being “female” the ideals and expectations ingrained due to her body. In between working on her sculptures of the human body she enjoys experimenting with colour, pattern, and sculpting technique through making decorative and functional items for the home.
